The team at Rosland Gold were after a site refresh to drive more leads, after doing a review of their current site it was identified that the site was a fantastic candidate for a Shopify Migration from WordPress to resolve many internal frustrations around content editability and also a lack of site speed and performance.
The team at rosland also had a requirement for 2 sites to be migrated into 1, their gold arm of the business and also their racing team arm of the business.
We commenced the project by choosing the base theme we were to base the build off, in this case, it was Prestige by Maestrooo. From here we continued to build on top of this theme to get the desired functionality and outcome.
We had a fresh slate with the design of the site and really got the opportunity to optimize from the previous site.
As this was a migration we also had to pay special attention to migrating all products from the old WordPress site and also all redirect mapping to mitigate any SEO downfalls experienced from a migration.
We also put a lot of work into the internal process for invoicing, making the process all automated for all invoicing and enquiries on the site.
This is the second project on which I have worked with Marshall and on both occasions I have not been disappointed.
Most recently, Marshall worked on the design, development and implementation of our new e-commerce site and digital communications. From beginning to end Marshall made the whole process as stress-free as possible, working closely to the brief while remaining flexible and adaptable to any changes we required.

A big goal of the rebuild was to increase site speed which has been proven to increase conversion rate, this was at the forefront of mind when building out the project which has resulted in above-average results.
The end project delivered an aesthetically pleasing and functional migration from WordPress to Shopify that has allowed the client full control over the editing of all content on the site, it also condensed 2 sites into 1 with no confusion to the consumer.
